Our Story

As a teen Archer started working with leather, the smell and feel of it had some primal effect on him. Leatherwork went by the wayside as a young adult but his love of working with leather returned years later in Dallas, Texas when he started making floggers for kinky friends. (In fact, it was watching his friends have fun that made him realize that he might enjoy the same activities). He started Fantasies In Leather as a part-time business while advancing his full-time career as an Environmental Health and Safety professional.

Archer also provides educational experiences on subjects ranging from S&M technique, alternative relationships, and the spiritual application of BDSM activities. He completed Fakir Musafar's body piercing and branding intensive schools in order to offer these arts with a more spiritual, less clinical focus and often facilitates flesh hook pulls and suspensions.

Always the artistic type, Elegant learned to sew at a young age, often created gifts for family and friends, and is always discovering new ways to apply her talent. A few years after meeting Archer she left the corporate world and concentrated on the Fantasies In Leather business. In addition to expanding her leatherwork and other artistic skills, Elegant became a skilled bootblack and leathercare professional.

She leads workshops on S/M techniques, leatherwork, and workshops of the mind and assists Master Archer with spiritual ritual experiences, identifying as a Spiritual Clown and Warrior Goddess. Her dedication to the community and specifically in spreading a positive awareness of D/s~M/s is a never-ending path to understanding her own life.

Archer and Elegant combine their lives, their passions, and their talents to create enticing items for a variety of folks both kinky and 'nilla. Their skills have evolved and the product line has grown to include more than just leather items, but quality, craftsmanship, and unique personal touches remain a priority.
